Tom and Don were fantastic to work with. I contacted them in early January. Within a week, they were having the house photographed professionally. In another week I was live in the MLS. Two weeks later I had a signed offer and eventually agreed to an offer above the appraisal. Less than 7 weeks from my listing, I closed. They were there with me every step of the way, explaining and advising. I can't imagine having a better experience and all while they saved me a great deal of money at closing. Tom and Don are the real deal. A little background - I had a very negative perception of realtors from the purchase of my first home and these guys completely turned that perception around. They are attentive and experts in their field. They explained everything thoroughly and made me feel like I was in good hands. I was able to focus on the other elements of my life while they handled the sale of my home. The only thing I had to do was open the door when potential buyers would schedule showings! What can I say ? These guys are top notch PROFESSIONALS !! And I mean it . Unfortunately I have not used them on my rental property sale in February this year (didn't know them yet , now I know they would get me several thousand more there ) , but they SOLD my beautiful house just now and I am very happy and grateful ! Tom and Don created real traffic, I mean every day there was a booking and I do not mind showing it myself, actually it was perfect for me as I am rather flexible on time. Previous brokers demanded constant price decreases, that was their ONLY answer :-(Assist-to-Sell owners did not push me to keep lowering and lowering the price, they just kept working and working and creating this massive traffic. Tom and Don are an excellent team! We listed our home in Pembroke Pines with Tom and Don, which is about as far south as I've seen them list. We interviewed two full-priced real estate agents who are very active in our neighborhood in addition to Tom. All three of the agents (Tom included) gave us recommended listing prices within $10,000 of each other, so we knew that even though he doesn't sell as much as the others in our area, Tom still knew his stuff when pricing homes. Tom spent two hours at our house with a photographer to take listing pictures. The listing, write up, and pictures were very well done. On day 4 after our listing became active, we received an offer that was $9,000 under listing, a very strong offer which Don advised us not to take due to contingencies. He said we could do better. He was absolutely correct, because two days later we had an offer for 100% of asking price, all cash, no contingencies. Don guided us expertly through signing the contract, dealing with the few issues that came up on inspection, and understanding the closing statement. We successfully closed last week with Tom. Throughout the process Tom and Don responded quickly to our emails, calls and texts. They showed in-depth knowledge about the nuances of real estate transactions. After our listing expired with a traditional, full commission, agent we decided to drop our price and go with a discount agent. After a long search and many interviews we went with Assist-To-Sell after speaking with Tom Carroll. This became the turning point in the sale of our home. Tom, Don and Maureen really came through for us! Not only did we see more traffic, but the number and size of the offers went up as well. We sold our home in a reasonable period of time for a reasonable amount and that’s all you can ask of an agent. These guys are five stars all the way! They are very knowledgeable, professional and hard working. Tom went above and beyond to step in for us when we traveled. His pictures were very great, as good as and sometimes better than the professional photographer used by our first agent. Don Marton was extremely helpful during the closing and even provided me with insights after our sale and during the purchase of our new home. He made himself available for multiple appraisals and inspections at the property, trips to the HOA managing agent or anything else we needed. He is extremely knowledgeable regarding the nuances of Florida real estate transactions and was on top of every detail. As a result the transaction went extremely smooth for all parties. We highly recommend Don and Tomand will use them again.
